Since February, Linux market share was around 2% but never was over it for two months in a row. In September market share was 1,99%, on October it rose to 2,09% (+1.000.000 users in a month, not bad) and in November it rose slightly to 2,11%. I can hear the trolls laughing:)
I expected a bigger rise judging from my friends & colleagues that installed Ubuntu as dual boot last month.
Anyway, we can now say that 2% is behind us at last and we can expect to reach 3% in 2009 or 2010 (if Windows 7 become Win ME 3 or Vista 2, then 3% will come without breaking a sweat:)
